Could you help us communicate with our members?
1st June 2021
Do you have a passion for sharing the amazing things that our volunteers and young people get up to in local Scout Groups as we deliver #SkillsForLife ?
We're growing our volunteer team and looking to recruit an Assistant Regional Commissioner (Communications) to work alongside our Chief Operating Officer to:
- Promote the Movement and the Region in particular in a positive light.
- Ensure effective, regular communication to both internal and external audiences.
- Ensure the Scouting 'image' and 'message' is of consistently high standard and quality.
The Assistant Regional Commissioner (Communications) is a key role which has responsibility for ensuring that Scouting in the Region is appropriately promoted using various media channels, and that communication tools are used effectively to make and keep in contact with both internal and external audiences.
Do you have experience in social media and brand perception or would you like to gain it? This is a flexible volunteering opportunity to support us growing and improving our visibility.
If you feel this is the role for you or know, please contact Gary in the regional office for an informal discussion in the first instance.
