Interested in attending the 24th World Scout Jamboree

UKHQ have just announced that the Jamboree fee payable via them for participation in this event will be £3,495 per person. It is therefor now anticipated that the total cost for participating in this event will not exceed £4,000 as we need to add on local Unit costs for training, unit branded kit, etc.

Everyone who is successful in being offered a place in the Unit will be asked to set-up a monthly standing order payment to pay their Jamboree fees between selection and the Spring before departure.

Selection will take place at Auchengillan Outdoor Centre during the weekend of 7th and 8th October. Young people coming for selection will need a Night's Away Passport to attend and will need to bring all of their own camping equipment and cater for themselves for lunch, dinner and supper on Saturday and breakfast and lunch on Sunday.

If you are applying for selection for Blair Atholl as well, we'll ensure that you are available to attend one of their selection times.
