Climbing Assessment Day

Would you like a Scout Permit for Leading or Supervising Climbing on Artificial Walls?
Clyde Region has organised an assessment day for adults who are either members of climbing centres or who climb on a regular basis where you will be able to be assessed for your Scout Permit.
The assessments will take place at the 30th Glasgow Scout Hall, Lamermoor Avenue, Cardonald, Glasgow, G52.
Assessments will take place between 10am and 4pm and there will be enough space for up to 25 people to be assessed during the day. Candidates will be allocated a one hour time slot during which there assessment will take place.
All candidates need to be able to meet the criteria in the Technical Assessment Checklist and where possible you should bring your own equipment (excluding ropes).
For those aiming for supervisor, you should bring a logbook of experience and anyone with an NGB should bring a copy of their certificate.
Our Activities Adviser, Colin, will be on hand to help you with the admin and form filling.
