Calder
Calder Scout District was formed in 2008 with the amalgamation of the old Motherwell and Monklands Scout Districts. The new district provides access to scouting for all young people aged 6 to 25 of every faith and background in the North Lanarkshire area. We currently have 14 Scout groups based in the local communities of:
- Airdrie
- Allanton
- Bellshill
- Bonkle
- Cambusnethan
- Coatbridge
- Chapelhall
- Mossend
- Motherwell
- Newmains
- Salsburgh
- Shotts
- Wishaw
At present we have almost 500 youth members (aged 6yrs to 25yrs) and more than 100 Adult leaders or volunteers.
